Play Ball
Saturday, March 9, 2013
Opening Day
Baseball season. Opening day. Take me out to the ball field being practiced on the piano and sung out on the field. Every player goes out on the field from t-ball players to majors. Some running, barely making it over their own feet, while others have such determination and their eyes on pro-ball. All high fiving the others. All of them, ready to play some ball!

April Showers
The rain is pounding away outside. So, inside we're enjoying our succulents from the wedding while we wait to get back out to the garden. We're reading a new book. Eli and I started Treasure Island. Nothing abridged about this version. He always wants to read another chapter. I've been enjoying Taproot and the comfort that it is. Comfort that there is a publication that rejoices in all the people slowing down and taking root. Eli is packed and ready to go when that field dries out. A new bat and batting gloves await!
